4TB MyBook connected to Cisco EA4500

I have a MyBook 4TB that I have connected to a EA4500 via USB.  On my Win7 PC I can see the drive under network and add files to it from the Win7 PC, which is hard wired to wireless router.  On my Win8 PC I see what I think is the drive under network but when I click on the drive it tries to connect to EA4500 and errors out, which is wireless.

I have verified multiple times that the the Win8 PC is connected to the correct wireless connection and workgroup.  Any ideas?

Hi gredden, connecting USB drives to a router is not supported, but maybe some of the other users have experience with your router.
