Drivers are up to date. Anything I try to do with the drive says “The device is not ready”

Make sure the USB cable is secure - try using another one (and a different USB port as well) if you can. If the issue persists, try on another computer - if the same problem happens I’d replace the drive.

Unfortunately I’ve tried 2 different USBs and two different PCs. I was hoping I wouldn’t have to replace the drive but seems to be the only option at this point.
