I think this means the unit has crashed but here goes:
The drive started to make clicking sounds and then slowly “spun down” with the light in the front turning off never to appear again. I have done everything from a new usb-c cable, I double checked the power supply. Nothing.
Has anyone had success connecting with support from WD? My experience has been an F-. Live Chat is a joke when you get to #1 in the cue it cancels you out saying there are no agents available to assist you.
My hope is that someone here can give me some direction with this drive or is it a brick?
