4TB External Connected to Wireless Router Via USB

Is this possible? Because every router I look at to try and connect will not support any HDD’s over 3TB. I will be using the HDD for a simple Home media server. I do not want to partition the drive either as I have more than 3TB worth of viewing content already on the drive. Any suggestions other than buying a different model with an ethernet connection?

RightandFree,

This will depend on your router as opposed to the hard disk drive itself. You will need to confirm with the manufacturing brand of your router the supported parameters related to storage media, including maximum supported size, file system, and partition table in case this is possible.
