404 Not Found when accessing dashboard via wdmycloud.local

Hello.

I recently setup a 4TB My Cloud gen2 and can not access the dashboard from my local network using wdmycloud.local, I can however access it via its IP address. I’ve updated to the most current firmware 2.21.111 which didn’t resolve the issue.

The error I get is 404 Not Found. The requested URL /UI was not found on this server.

I have searched this forum as well as the WD knowledge base and have not found a solution.

Has anyone had this issue and know of a solution?

It’s probably a DNS resolution issue. I can only access the Dashboard by IP address. It doesn’t bother me…

Same here … Only by IP.

Yep. I found that only some of my devices were getting the error and rebooting them fixed the issue.
