I just bought a 3TB Seagate GoFlex Home NAS and connected to my home network. The device shows on Live Hub but with truncated file list: only 10 folders. I have tried to turn off and on the Media Library but it still won’t expand. Is this the same issue that I discovered when I tried to plug a 3TB drive through my USB input (except this time Ididn’t lose my data!?)
No, that’d be a separate thing. The WD’s don’t care how big a NAS is.
Are you accessing via NETWORK SHARES or MEDIA SERVERS?
Your question provided the answer: I was accessing through Media Server, not Network Shares. When I changed it and set up my login and pw, it worked!
