3TB NAS Windows 7 Lbraries

I’m only using my 3TB Mybook Live NAS to store video files, that is all. The path is /shares/NAS/Videos

Is there a way to add this network path into the Windows 7 Videos library? From my research it seems I might need to make the files “avaliable offline” (whatever that means) in order to have them indexed, as Windows 7 libraries require the files to be “indexed” to include them.

Open the library and right click it to see the options, it lets you choose the folders that are included on the Library.

From what I see on your post this drive will be a primary source of data, so I hope you have a backup. If a 3TB drive full of movies is to fail and you don’t have a backup then you’ll have a hard time.
