I have a 1140 model external drive with the SmartWare software. I backup my data and it is successful. However, upon rebooting computer or reconnecting the hard drive, the software acts as though nothing was ever backed up. It begins the backup process all over again from “square one.” Why doesn’t it just start from where it left off? Is my stuff really getting backed up or not? Maybe I don’t understand the process. I doubt it is a glitch.

verify the data for backup and data backed up on the backup tab
