I own a MyBook Essential 3T external hard drive. Today as i turned on my computer a long with my hard drive, i heard a 2 beeps coming from my hard drive. A long with the beeps, my computer could not display the hard drive when i open up my computer. I tried it on another computer and still had the same problem. Also both computer have the driver installed for the hard drive and has worked perfectly until today. Has anybody had this problem? I have a lot of family pictures on this hard drive and it would kill me to lose them. I would truly appreciate some help.

I recommend that you try some basic troubleshooting.
1- Connect the power adapter to the wall directly.
2- If the computer is a desktop, connect it on the back USB port (directly to the PC, not through a hub).
3-Try another Power Adapter or USB cable if possible.
