Portable Drives My Passport

Hi!

I have three easy questions, and I hope I can get easy answers…

  1. Is it possible to save all of my music (or other files) on the Passport, and delete from my PC, to save space?

   1a) If so, how, please?

  1. How do I manually add/remove files to Passport?

  2. If I have music files only on the Passport, is it possible to play them directly from the Passport or will I have to recopy them to the PC? If possible… How?

I would not reply on one drive as the only source of important data internal or external no matter who makes it. You can just drag and drop or copy and paste like any other drive. Personally I would not use most external drives for anything other than backup since most lack cooling fans and continuous use may present a heat problem.
