I have a 2TB MyBook Live that had a power interruption and is now showing an amber LED indicator. I was able to log in with the web dashboard to the drive and it has been showing the “initialing” message for over a week. I can hear the disk being accessed but it doesn’t seem that it is making progress.
Is there any hope that I’ll be able to recover the data on this drive? Is there a command line interface to access the drive?
Thank you for any advice to preferably recover or as a last resort reformat the drive.
