hi there. now trying to reformat my drive and it almost took 2 hours already. i would like to ask how my hours is the maximum time to reformat 2 tb?
Should only a take a second, not hours. Exactly how are you doing this format?
Re-format how? Are you using Windows or Linux?
Assuming Windows, which version is it?
Are you using a USB-3 port on your PC?
If Windows 7, 8 or 10 did you use “quick format”? If this box is not clicked, and you specified NTFS, it WILL take a longgg time.
