2G hard drive problem

Just bought a new 2g external hard and when pluged in it say usb port does not recognize, tryed another port but same message, then tried my desk top still same message. any suggestions will be appriciated

try to download the drivers for the unit and make sure to connect the unit to the back USB port of your computer.
