24/96 FLAC question

I currently have a Live TV Plus but would like to be able to play FLAC audio file at 24/96 through the Optical SPIDIF to a follow-on DAC (C.A. DacMagic).

Does the Live Hub now pass 24/96 FLAC files throught the optical output?  I am most intrested in retaining the 24 bit depth.
