Indeed.

The indexing process, from what I have seen, is HORRIBLY inefficient.

Part of the problem is the device you have the Mirror Gen 2 - - - is on the lower end of device capability for OS/5 devices. . . . so that makes it even rougher for the end user. . .

Solutions include:

  • Revert to OS/3 (via unofficial means, but fairly straight forward for someone with Linux fluency)
  • Disable cloud services/access on the device.
