I have a WD NAS My Cloud Mirror 12TB drive and it is not letting me upgrade to the latest version of the firmawre. I can download it but it constantly times out when starting to begin installation. I have also tried the manual download and still get the same problem. I have tried turning the drive off, rebooted my router, PC everything it just wont start the installation. I have also tried turning off my firewall in case that was an issue but with no success. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I have upgraded before with no problems

I have exactly the same problem with MCM 4TB gen2.
I also tried to install update from ssh using updateFirmwareFromFile.sh, but it just stacks and all.
Support team, please give us an advice what to do!

Hi Artem_P did you get your problem solved? Mine still wont update. Support said they were sending me over some help files but only half were sent. I did a system restore but kept all other info and that didn’t work either
I am trying to update my firmware still and it wont install. Tried downloading the file and doing it manually, but still not luck. Did anyone have a solution. I have been trying off and on for close to 5 months now.
