Hi, first try running a test using DLG to rule out any possible hardware damage, if the test complete successfully, the data inside your Passport might be corrupted. If possible try using another USB cable and be sure to connect the Passport directly to the PC. If the problem continues and you need to recover your files, do a search on Google for data recovery programs, you can also contact any of the data recovery partners on the WD Support page, some of them offer a free evaluation.
