1TB My Passport Ultra - HDD partition cannot be recognised by my starhub tv box

Have recently bought the 1TB HDD for starhub samsung interactive tv recording. But when i plug in the HDD the error will appear “HDD partiition cannot be recognized”. Anyone can advise.
