I just got the Western Digital Live player and upgraded to the latest firmware. How do I use the skip function? When I play an MKV file I try to skip 10 minutes ( i heard you can just click on the “next button” and it will skip a number of minutes unlike the wdtv player where you have to forward for ages). When I do click on the next button it just skips to the next movie/video file

You use the FF or Rew button and then the next or prev button to go forward or back in 10 minute steps. In short you must be fast forwarding or reversing to skip 10 minutes.
