I may have made a mistake by going to Best Buy but I did and need help.
With the help of Best Buy’s apple expert I purchased a 1 TB WD Caviar Green for my 2005 G5 iMac (previous HD died). I installed the WD hard drive and found the fan noise to be very, very loud.
Did I install incorrectly or is the HD too much for the 05 iMac version?
Help, this fan noise is just silly loud!
