1 TB Passport not working

My external is showing up on Devices and under the properties it says that the device is working correctly, but it is not showing up on my computer and I can’t figure out how to open it up to see the files on the device.

Any help is greatly appreciated.  These files are very important.

have you tried it on other computers? or different USB port?

Yes. I have tried one other computer and three other Ports

check on disk management  to see if able to change drive letter or format the drive

we see this more often now with USB wd drives, drives can not mount due to bad sectors. there are ways of recovering data, but if you dont need or have copy of your stuff RMA the device.
