I am using Windows 10. Recently formatted to clear drive to initiate a fresh backup and disk image. Now I can’t do either. When I attempt a backup, it states that the Drive is offline and to make sure the drive is plugged in.
How is the drive showing under disk management?

Solved issue by deleting all WD software and reinstalling it from the WD web site. I now have 2 options for my HD…“offline” and “online”. Thanks!
