My 600 My Book recently fell , it has fell before, but somehow I broke the as adettor. I have one other My book a TB and two other external hard drives. is there some way i can hook it up by using the the usb ports with outs the ac adaptor by the usb ports only. I have to do data transfer or if i can use this only by the usb ports :-? i would surly hate to loose my only 600gb one

How do you mean you broke the adapter? Did you break the power adapter plug on the drive itself?
