Audio Lip Sync - Save setting and make persistent

One useful feature I like on the SMP is the ability to adjust the audio lip sync on the fly. I find all MKV files seem to need a -200ms adjustment with my setup, while DVD rips seem to play fine without any adjustment.

It would be handy if it were possible to save the audio lip sync setting and make it apply to all media, or all media of a particular format.

Agree wholeheartedly.

My WDTV live audio goes through my surround sound system.  Consequently the audio is always ahead of the pictures on the TV.  I need to add 100mS delay EVERY time.  It would be a great improvement if this setting was 'remembered' by the WDTV box..

Anybody who routes the audio through a stereo or similar will have the same issue  (unless they're using a good old fashioned CRT TV)

Cheers

Geoff

I agree that it would be nice if the Audio Lip Sync was able to stored.

I would like to see it have the ability to read a file from the storage media or DLNA  Server or even store the lip sync on the internal flash, match the lip sync file to the movie name for the lip sync settings.  This will allow for different file format lip sync.
