File structure help

Ok guy so I have the complete collections of Star Wars, Family Guy, Fast and Furious and Dark Knight.

For example for my Dark Knight triology I set the folder pic as :!folder.jpg

but instead its showing Batman Begins: batman-begins-poster-big.jpg

This is what my file structure looks like. What did I do wrong?

It looks like your folder.jpg is named incorrectly, what is that in front of the f in folder.jpg

Cheers

The jpg should be called folder.jpg. It looks like you have a character before the word “folder”. I think it’s an exclamation mark or an i but hard to see clearly. Rename it to folder.jpg. Then you’ll have to reboot your device as the picture will be cached so when you rename it, it will still display the old picture until you reboot.

Because there is no folder.jpg, the device will use the first metathumb (alphabetically) that it finds, which in this case is the Batman Begins one.

rename folder.jpg to 0.metathumb  (that’s a Zero… alphabetically 0 will display 1st before letters A,B,C etc)

thanks for the help guys

the metathumbs tend to take over the jpegs, that is a ! in front of folder, thats how I used to fix before I got away from metathumbs and went to themes.
