Greek Subtitles help

I’ve got the latest version of the WD TV box but for the life of me I cant get it to play greek subtitles.  It always says the file is unknown.  Any help would be great.

Subtitles and video must have exactly the same name! Please check it.(I suppose that you have already choosen greek subtitles in MENU of your device).

Indeed. The subtitle file should be named exactly as the video file including dots, comas, and/or dashes.

Regards,

ks for the replies.  The file was the same and I thought I’d gone through all the menu systems for other subtitle formats.  But seems I didnt look in one area I didnt expect it to be in.  Its all working now, thanks for the suggestions.

Always a pleasure.

Hi,

i have the same problem! My files (movie file and subtitle file) have the same title. The subtitle file have at the end .text. Some files plays without problem.

have the media player a restriction for the file type? for example mp4 avi etc.

I changed the settings on my media player with greek (iso) and greek (windows), but still didn’t worked.

AFAIK Text is no supported, it needs to be named .srt or .ssa.

Thank you!

My problem is solved!
