The video playback options menu is different from that described in the user manual

hi,

during playback of a movie, if I push the button on the remote wdtv displays an options menu. differently from what is written in the manual, this menu doesn’t contain items such as “Rate”, “Subitle”, “Adjust subtitles.”…why?

It depends on the media type (DVD or non-DVD), whether the Media Library is active and set to be your content source, whether it’s coming from a network share or DLNA server, etc.

therefore i can’t use a separated subtitle (*.srt) with movie files (avi,mp4,etc) taken from dlna server?

No, cause pretty much no DLNA server sends external to you WDTV. So either you have to embed them or connect via network shares.
