I have several shared folders wich have folder jpg’s that appear to identify the folders. I also have a drive attached for local storage but cannot find a way to associate a thumbnail to identify it.
Just include a small .jpg file in the root directory of the drive. That’s what I do

Tried that. It works for the folders but not fot the external drive attached.

That’s correct. Unfortunately, you can’t use a custom icon to represent the whole drive.

By “default” no … by using a “custom theme” yes

Yep !, i modifed “Default Mochi” today to include “Drive Icons” … works for all views (exception: “Gallery View” … which is limited to only display One Drive Icon aka. “Poster” Image at a time)
I’ll upload the mod and (simple) instructions if anyone is interested.
