I was looking at a raid box to hold (4) 3TB drives. Specifically at new egg SANS DIGITAL TowerRAID TR4U+B. Don’t need the raid part, i just want at least (4) 3TB drives supported by USB to stream HD movies.
It says it is USB 3 but USB 2 backward compaitble. I have a USB3 64G storage stick that did not work so I’m a little worried about the USB compaitbility aspect. It says it allows access to 4 drives via one USB cable.
Anyone successfully accomplish mass external storage with multiple drives via USB cable? PLease offer specific product names.
