When latest model is unplug from mains resume does not work

On the latest model W.D. T.V. Live when I unplug the unit from mains I have not

the option of resume to the previous video I watched.

On the previous model I do not have this problem.

Anybody knows something on this?

Can you please provide the model number of your unit? This will allow the users to assist you better.

Users won’t be able to assist cause apparently this is a bug introduced in 2.01.86.

On the web page it is written  :  Model: WDBPUF0000NBK-EESN

On the my unit it does not say anywhere Model Number.

I have P/N WDBGXT0000NBK-01

If the one that you have on your hands says P/N WDBGXT0000NBK-01, you have a WD TV Live Streaming Media Player (Gen 3)  

The one on the link that you provided is the latest version of the WDTV.

So it is the 3rd Gen.

The latest model what Gen is it?

Do you think that the previous model I also have:

P/N:WDBAAP0000NBK-01

maybe has a battery inside so the resume is working even if the

unit is unplug from the mains?

And also the model that I have no resume if unplug, does not have a battery inside

and this is the reason?
