Western Digital TV live not viewable by wireless TV's also on the network

Okay so I have a Western Digital TV Live - Connected to a 3TB Harddrive(WD mybook)

Western Digital TV Live connected to network via ethernet, connected to harddrive via USB, which is connected to the TV by HDMI (works on this Tv)

We want it to work on two other wireless TV’s which are samsung both with (DLNA enabled) but

Wireless tv’s not recognising the WD box on the network.
The harddrive is accessible by all PC’s.

is there anyway around this without having to keep a computer constantly on and use it as a server, is there anyway to make the WD TV live distribute the media wirelessly?

Thank you

Lukey

Hi Lukey,

maybe we need to know something more about your network environment, but the first thing I had in mind is: have you wireless isolation feature activated in your router or acces point?

The WDTV Live is not a DLNA server.

The only media player WD made that’s a DLNA server is the WD TV Live Hub.   It’s still available in a few places, but no longer made.
