Ways to play media!

Hey Guys, Im a noob new.

So ive been enjoying my WD live for a few months now.

But Im really getting sick of everyday, downloading movies on my pc, then having to put them on my usb stick then walking up to the tv and plugging the stick in. Imgoing through alot of sticks.

So Can you guys tell me the easiest way to eliminate the USB stick. lol

Your comment leads me to believe that you may have the newer Live Streaming Media Player (SMP). Does you player look like the one at the top of this forum (the old Live) or the one at the top of  This Forum ?

Either way you can setup network shares. If the newer you can also leave a usb stick or drive attached to the WD TV and copy from your PC to the drive over the network. The manual will get you started on network shares and these forums have quite a bit of information should you run into trouble.

It can also be done on the older box with custom firmware, dont know about the stock firmware.
