I would like to include my comments about both payers WD TV Live and WD TV Live Hub
I have no clue why WD TV Live Hub has stopped development neigther new firmware.
But in my oppinion Live Hub is far away better than Live Streaming.
Live Hub :
1 - Faster processing and swaping applications and handling movies.
2 - DVD movie interface for root menu works.
3 - Video protocol compliance towards many different video codecs.
4 - The most important it has its self storage 1T Hard Disk built in.
Live Streaming :
1 - Wireless network WiFi built in. Good.
2 - Too slow for swap the applications and handling movies.
3 - DVD root menu doesn’t work fine.
4 - Not every video works fine and Youtube also not playing all.
5 - There is no built in storage HD. So additional equipment must be connected.
If any body has more comments or different, should share here with us.
Even with the above, I would consider to continue with WD Players.
