I recently bought a Hauppauge 950Q tv tuner to use with my WDTV Live SMP. The SMP found all my local channels and the picture and sound are great. The problem is when I attempt to change the channel my picture freezes and locks up. The only way to fix it is a hard reboot only to have it happen again if I change channels. The Happauge works perfectly when connected to my PC windows 7. I think the problem has to be the drivers in the WD SMP. I have searched the forum and found others with the exact same problem, but I haven’t found any solutions posted. Can anyone help me find the fix for this?
What firmware are you running on the WDTV SMP?
Have you tried performing a hard reset?
Firmware version 1.15.10 and yes I tried the hard reset to no avail.
Same issue for me. Hard reset not solving this.

Hope WD or Hauppauge solve this issue soon.
Until this problem solve, do not buy SMP + 950Q.
I think WD need to remove 950Q from support device list.
I think the problem is the WD driver for Happauge. A firmware update will probably fix this. Feed back from WD would be helpful.
