WD TV stopped playing video

I purchased a WD TV Live a couple of weeks ago. Installation was easy and I upgraded to the latest firmware. Everything was working great until a couple of days ago the WD TV stopped playing videos, including ones that I’d played before. When I try to play a video now the arrow goes around and around endlessly. Pictures still play normally.

I’m running Playback Media Server and have restarted it. I’ve checked my settings and everything looks correct - they haven’t been changed since videos were working.

What can I do now?

i have found a setup → Device Restart 

seems to help when it acts “strangely”  

I stumbled on it when my movies in my Media Library would should up, but the background images wouldn’t, and the movie wouldn’t play.  doing a Setup → Device Restart  ( not reset)  seemed to help it.

That worked! I’m not sure whether I did restart or reset and whatever it was was a bit of a PITA, but it worked. Thank you!
