For the past day I’ve been helping a mate setup his newly built room, we have his ps3 in the new room, the wd tv live box in the lounge room connected via ethernet with 2 hard drives connected to it, now the problem is the ps3 is not finding the wdtv live, but his pc which is directly next to the ps3 does find it, is the wd live not compatible with the ps3 or what? i would’ve thought that it being a media hub it would automatically appear on the ps3
On your PS3 go to Settings > Network Settings > Media Server Connection > On
Then under Video / Music / Photos on the PS3 select “Search for Media Servers”
(make sure the WDTV Live Hub DLNA is enabled Setup > Network Settings > DLNA Media Server > On )
