I’d love to setup a WD TV Live and both my parents and in-laws to allow them to access my library at home.
Am I missing something obvious like an app or method for connecting to an outside share?
The share is a MyBookLive, and so far, they’ve used the the MyCloud app on their ipads to playback content onto their AppleTV via Airplay, but the iPad doesn’t recognize all formats like the WDTV Live does.
Am I going to need to create a VPN between their location and mine?
or will the “keep it simple” system they use now, mean I need to convert all videos to a format that works with the ipad (yuck).
