Hi Everyone,

I thought I’d post the following as it may help others. I have had a frustrating few weeks trying to figure out why my WDLive box could no longer log into my Drobo5N after working great for months. It turned out it was my sky router. There has been an automatic  software or firmware upgrade made by Sky at the begining of January 2014. I am not yet sure how to fix the issue other than by going back to an old router. (That was how I figured it was a router problem.)

Hi, thank you for sharing. Check if the sky router has any firewall that might be blocking the WDTV.

I had to open up the following ports.

TCP 445, TCP/UDP 135, TCP/UDP 137, TCP/UDP 138.

Good find wild_asterix to get this fixed.

Did the “upgrade” of the router close down those ports for your whole internal network? Pretty rough since they blocked a bunch of ports related to netbiois name discovery and sessions for SAMBA. None of your windows based computers would be able to connect to each other or your SMP (or your Dobo) and map drives.  Not really a very helpful upgrade.
