Video Chapters

After the update, I can’t seem to get chapters to work on my mp4 videos that were previously working before. Is there a way to re-enable chapter support in options or something, or should I just rollback the firmware?

Hi,

Are you able to use that option with a different file?

After the firmware update, did you perform any kind of resets? If not, please try a factory restore to make sure that any information from the previews firmware is cleared out.

Did a firmware reset to no avail; chapters still work on Mkv files, but not mp4 as they did before.

Eta on developers releasing update which fixes all the bugs on current firmware? And resolute answer to downgrade or not.

Screw this, buying an Amazon Fire TV + XBMC. Will never buy a WDTV again.

Just a heads up, MP4 chapter skipping is broken in XBMC on some platforms as well

Also according to the AFTV wiki … the FF/REW have to be manually configured also  (10. Known Issues)

So, local playback of DTS-MA works on the latest firmware (without sideloading)?
