Last week I bought a WD TV Live and am now trying to set it up. Sorry if have ask maybe stupid questions.
Now I am trying to make a movie library. The player scans all the movies on my networkdrive. After about 15 minutes he has found a lot of moviecontent. But for a lot of movies he does not find the content.
The names of the movies are all correct, so no strange things in the filenames. Are not all movies in the database? For example, Saw 1 till 4 goes perfect. Saw 6 he doesn’t find. But also other big famous movies don’t get the content.
You have the option when it does not find your file to rename it, lots of other applications, media players, seem to misbehave this way.
So for example you say Saw 6, I bet if you call your movie either
Saw 6 (2009) or Saw VI or Saw VI (2009) it finds it…why unsure, sometime these scrapers will break because there are a few names of the same title but different years, so its usually a good idea to have a year in the title. Sometimes they just seem to act up for no reason.
Another good idea is to check what the scraper uses to scrape and see how they are named either
