Well, the last fiddle with JRiver did it. I unchecked server synch under network preferences and that unlocked all of the features not working. Random, but effective.

Is Server Synch and Network Preferences on your WD unit or PC? I cannot find either on the WD unit. I have the same issue sometimes.
