Also unable to set time in video, use subtitles, or audio streams. These features were working. I then needed to reinstall Win7 so did a total wipe. I reloaded jriver DLNA and have access to all videos (occasionally I get a note on WDTV saying a file is incompatible for playback, but that is another (related?) issue. When I try to FF, it does, but pressing play sets the video to begin at 00:00.
I’m stumped. The video files are the same.

Well, the last fiddle with JRiver did it. I unchecked server synch under network preferences and that unlocked all of the features not working.
Random, but effective.
Is Server Synch and Network Preferences on your WD unit or PC? I cannot find either on the WD unit. I have the same issue sometimes.
