Slingplayer with WD TV live

Hi all,

I’ve not purchase the WD TV live yet but wondering which version has the Slingplayer app built it?

I found these on Amazon but not sure which one has it…

WDBHG70000NBK-HESN  currently  74.97

WDBYMN0000NBK-HESN  currently  89.99

WDBMBA0000NBK-HESN  (2013 model)  currently at 54.39

I just want the ability to stream HD TV from my slingbox (currently own SlingBox Pro 200-100 (red)) from one room to another room TV cheapest way. Can I use 2013 model?

I check on the list of online services of the units and I found the Slingplayer listed under the WDTV Live Streaming media player Model ( WDBHG70000NBK-HESN )

Also is listed under the latest version of the units Model ( WDBYMN0000NBK-HESN )

So either one of those unit comes with the app included.

Also, do you know if Sling box Pro 200-100 will work?  Or must I get the latest Slingbox?

That specific model is not listed. So it might or might not work.

Take a look at the list of compatible devices for the WDTV media players

Thank you again… it looks like my Slingbox Pro 200-100 will not work.

Looks like I need to upgrade.

The latest one is the new Slingbox M1 (149.99 from Amazon) - this is also not listed yet.

If anyone here got this new Slingbox M1 and got this to work with Slingplayer from WD TV, can you please post here and let me know?
