Agreed not a chance. The WD is so under powered compared to current players on the market, it simply doesn’t have the hardware to do it.
So what special power do you need for Popcorn Time? The WDTV can playback HD video, scrape movie info and do torrents. I said there’s no chance because WD isn’t gonna support priacy that obvious.
