Why are companies and gadgets so behind; its the technology of today - ondemand. So why are there only a couple of services available? We should have 4od, itv player, 5 ondemand, lovefilm, nowtv etc. I thought the purpose of a media player is to take the PC out of the equation and be able to watch stuff on your TV without the agro. If you still have to connect a PC to a TV to watch basic free to air TV then something is wrong.
If WD got their act together they could be very clever and gain more sales due to this feature.
I understand their are copyright/ license issues however surely judging by how many are available on the ipad etc it would be feasible? I just feel there is a general lack of effort in this area.
