This is just frustrating. I have an iMac running Lion and the WD TV Live will not connect to it. In the network share window it has Windows and Linux only. Is there a solution to this? Thanks.
Right, same problem here. There is a posted workaround …

It’s difficult to stream media directly from a Mac running Lion but media server apps work well. I use Yazsoft’s Playback but there are several out there that work and some that are free. Google “Mac media server” and I think you will find a few.
