My Media player freezes and the hard drive 'ejects itself'. **bleep**? :(

Hello hello :slight_smile:

I’m new to the forum and joined thanks to being super annoyed due to issues popping up with my media player.

Basically, when watching something on one of my harddrives which is connected to my media player, it frequently freezes and then a message pops up saying the hard drive has been ejected and from there I have to hard reset the hard drive AND the media player to get it working again.

So far I’ve noticed it happening on certain things on my hard drive but I’m still not entirely sure how to resolve this beyond deleting them off my hard drive.

Wondering if anyone else has experienced something like this? It is super frustrating especially when you’re engrossed in watching something :frowning:

Can’t say that I’ve ever seen a hard drive that has a way to be hard reset.

Exactly what kind of HD is this?
