Movies Sort By Release Date

I’m probably just missing it but its driving me crazy.  I can sort by date but that is date added.  How do I sort by the release date?

You can’t.

A possible workaround is to add the year to the start of the movie name. Then you sort by name.

(1984) Terminator

(1991) Terminator 2
