Meaybe audio codec AAC?

No, the device would support that.

You should remove your name from your posting, though.

Not so sure.  According to the specifications, FLV is only supported as a container, not as a codec.

FLV container only allows AVC video, not FLV video.

AVI container only supports AVC, DivX (3/4/5/6), MPEG4, M-JPEG (422), WMV3, WVC1 (VC1), and Xvid

Given that MediaInfo interprets it as AVC video within an FLV container, it may be that the extension of the file is .AVI, where it should be .FLV.

Wow, you’re right. I saw that that the file had a wrong extension, but I thought this wouldn’t be the actual problem…

The SMP refuses to play FLVs when they got the wrong extension.

But it plays MP4s and AVIs with wrong extensions. That’s just silly.

@ masteralivex

Just change the extensions of these files from .avi to .flv, but only of those which aren’t working.

Yes, it works!  just change avi to flv

Thanks @ schwurbel and @ TonyPh12345
