Just to add a little more to what Joey is saying. I believe when I first set up my Network Shares I had to change the Permissions on each share to enable file management, i.e. the share had to have ‘Write’ access.
I’m not sure which is the correct/optimal setting but mine is currently set to ‘Full Control’ . Hopefully someone can correct me on the preferred setting.
File mgmt from a WD is kind of useless and cumbersome. I just do it all from the PC. Works fine this way.
